Free everyday calculators for time, grades, home projects and a little fun.

The useful odds and ends

Other calculators is the drawer where the useful odds and ends live. None of these tools belongs to money, maths class or the gym, but each one answers a question that eats real time when you try to work it out by hand: how many tiles a bathroom floor needs, how much concrete a slab takes, what a subnet mask actually allows, or what time it is in another zone when a call is booked.

Some are built for work. The hours calculator adds up shifts without a spreadsheet, the time calculator handles durations that cross midnight, the grade calculator turns a pile of marks into the average a report will show, and the IP subnet calculator does the binary arithmetic that network engineers otherwise keep a cheat sheet for. The password generator makes strong passwords on the spot, on your device, and forgets them instantly.

Some are built for the house. Square footage and tile calculators measure a room once and tell you how much material to buy, including the spare you will be glad of when a cut goes wrong. The concrete and BTU calculators size up a pour and a room heater before you spend anything.

And some are simply for fun, which is a perfectly good reason for a tool to exist. The dice roller rolls fair dice with any side count you like, the love calculator is exactly as scientific as it sounds, and the roman numeral converter translates dates for tattoos, title pages and very serious birthday cards.

All 13 tools are free and run in your browser. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no sign-up between you and the answer. If a question does not fit anywhere else on CalcMega, there is a fair chance the tool for it is sitting below.
